Thermostatic Mixing Valves

Installing a thermostatic mixing valve

Scalds from hot tap water can be horrific for any person, however, the consequences can be even worse for young children, elderly people, and people with disabilities. You can reduce the risk of hot water scalds in your home by installing a thermostatic mixing valve (TMV) at your hot water heater.

Thermostatic mixing valves ensure that hot water is at a maximum of 50 degrees Celsius when it leaves the tap. The limitation over temperature can be applied to the whole home, or to a particular location of the home, as per Australian Standards.

Australian Standards refers that all new water heating systems that cannot be replaced with the new one, must be fitted with a temperature limiting device. Give us a Call and we will avail you our Thermostatic Mixing Valves service for your home.
